I guess Ivy and Reba and Booker (who hasn't graced the ePlaya that I know of) have decided to camp elsewhere and so Doc Pyro wrote: "So effectively, Wheeeee!Ville is dead. Long live Wheeeee!Ville." Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Anyway, far as I can tell, BDC&WB will be there and, last I heard, Doc will host the meat and greetZulegoona wrote:Hey Sput
What's the scoop on wheeeville, and BDC&WB and Doc?
It's going to be alright.
Yes the ones I was looking had all the extras with solid doors. But what I am looking for has no floor no solid doors window can be taped shut for dust storms. I plan to setup desert camp gear. I have about five tents from lite backpacking to 14-person dome tent with diffrent setups But in my reading and what may be needed at anytime in the desert. I want my home to be an oasis and some place unique.
WARRIOR MODULAR SHELTER
This versatile product can be deployed in various climatic conditions. The design advantage is its ability to be provided in virtually any configuration to suit the special deployment conditions and requirements.
It is supplied in PVC impregnated polyester fabric which has been tested with respect to tensile strength, elongation, tearing strength, bursting strength, coating adhesion, resistance to flexing and flammability.
The structure can be supplied with an inner skin of polyethylene or polypropylene which can meet requirements of nuclear, bacteriological and chemical containment.
Roof / ceiling insulation and thermal cap insulation in white polyester fibre is thermally bonded-laminated to fire retardant high-density polyethylene on both sides. The insulation reduces downward heat flow and is a barrier against solar heat gain.
These tents can be supplied with electric harness, modular floors and collapsible furniture as well as solid or PVC doors
dome or tent... I can just buy a tent and I plan to use it for more types of events. but I like domes.

(Cc perks in, dressed from neck to toes in full regalia for cold desert night (actually, it's rainy as shit here
)
I've got about 2 1/2 hours til Midnight here, Bin, but...HAPPY B-DAY TISHA!
Damnit, I knew I forgot something on my Itinerary (pencils in: The Bar "Meet & Greet"-THURSDAY) Also scribbles: If stay SUNDAY night, watch the Temple burn.
Word. Happy B-Day, Tisha. Have a crazy good one, tie a few on for me, which (looks at watch) is exactily where abouts I'm off to. Have a good night Bin, sput, Mozy, Zule. I may be coming into The Bar a little late tomorrow depending on how late the night sucks me in
Love and pats...

(Cc disappears as quick as he shows up, minus the time it takes to grab a cup of coffee, chat for a second, and throw jacket on. Heads out into the Abyss that is fun, Humanity, and inner peace/confidence "Let's get phazy
", and poof, gone.

Well, if this place is anything like days past, it might be hard to find folks around here on a Saturday night. I have little ones asleep so I needed to do something quiet and since I came to the conclusion only today that I am >50% sure I am going to burningman this year, I figured I would pop in and see what was happening. It's been several months since I spent any time in any of the various bm related fora.

Yeah, I put any images I post in a directory of an old linux box that I have access to. That box is subject to go away someday but I don't really care, I don't put anything important there. I think it still collects a few thousand spams a day from an address I haven't used in several years, though. I delete the inbox once a month or so.
So I had an interesting little idea for BM06 but I shitcanned it almost as soon as I thought of it. It would be a cool idea but it would require me to babysit it and this year I am not going to get involved in anything that needs a lot of babysitting.
Basically, I had an idea for just a little spot ... a windbreak, couple of picnic tables, couple of propane patio heaters and some liquid refreshment set up out on the deep playa in a different spot every night. People walking around out there might stumble across it and have a nice spot to sit down, warm up and refresh. But I would have to stay with it, so it would be more of a ball and chain than I am willing to put up with this year.
