Is there a Burner IRC channel?

Post by Niacin » Sun Sep 21, 2003 10:04 am

Just wondering. I've seen one for Playa Del Fuego, and I think there's even one for the guy with the Keds fetish (don't ask), so is there one for Burning Man?

Cheers,
Max

I should have been more specific about what I'd like to know. . . Is IRC a website? Is it a software program? Does anyone have any experiences or opinions about IRC that they'd like to share?

IRC is Internet relay chat. it uses it's own software to form chat rooms on several networks.
can also be used for file exchange.
the most popular soft would be Mirc.

Come on over to EFnet #burningman

Post by Runnerr0 » Mon Oct 20, 2003 11:44 am

Well if ya know what irc is all about come on over to our cozy section of cyberspace. Efnet the network #burningman is the channel. Most of us are idle for a good amount of time but there is life on the relay chat. I’ll throw another digital log on the fire and we can reminisce or plan anew.

:D

Why is it that my old postings and any of my old suggestions on this bbs come back to haunt me months later?

In early septemer I posted here that I had just created a chat (IRc)

As Phydeau can tell you.

Anyway here is where it is posted:
