I know I have some playa dust in a jar.... I washed out my tent, collected the water, dried it,,, about a 1/4" in the bottom of a bucket......

Sacred baptism rituals performed......

come before the sacred altar of the playa, bow before it, and be annointed

I have some playa in a jar too. I was thinking it could be used by the greeters to anoint people entering SOAK.

A good place as any to cast off the other world and be anointed into the playa......even tho the ground is probably "green" near Salem

Anyone missing playa dust can come hang in my garage and sit/roll on 5-9 years worth of playa-coated camping gear.

Where near Salem?

Rather than playa dust you should bless people with a bottle of the rain from last years Soak. Seems more appropriate.

I'd be surprised if anyone saved any rain from last year.

If it rains again this year I'll insist we change we the name.

Yes, yes.... I realize we live in the PNW but come on, one event without so much as dew in the morning would be really nice.

It's time for us to SOAK up the sun!

Why? Rain at a festival called Soak seems fine...
