yeah, met him once. he was doing a speaking engagement for the univ. of kansas where i had a friend that was working the student union. they had some funds left over, so during a pot induced bout of insanity they decided to blow it on a guest speaker. nothing like being financially responsible.

they treated him right - flight, limo, hotel room... by the time he showed up (late) he was pretty hammered. talk went ok, i guess he does not prepare a speach or has notes or anything. i talked with him afterwards when my friends made a liquor run for him that night.

he spoke low, slightly mumbled, but loved to talk about the people he met.

The Great roaming buffalo, Hunter S is not dead just on assignment.. last seen in Afghanistan? scares hell out of George Bush! His attorney keeps refusing UPS packages marked "tax Info "05"" Hst.
