No sense waiting for the enemy to arrive before setting up defenses. Writing to report that the new WHACKED ("wormhole heavy attack controlled kill environmental defense") weapons system pioneered by EvilDustbooger has been put in place, and not a moment too soon. Even in the absence of visible spam, the local residents seemed dazed and confused, obviously reeling from the last onslaught.

As they still don't know how to use this advanced weapons system or even what to make of it, I was wondering if some of the experts from this board might be willing to enlighten them?

Interesting, but sounds like a lot of work. Wouldn't you need to raise the tunnel up on platforms at a few points to allow people to circulate through their own village?

It's probably one of those things that's relatively exciting in the imagination, but retarded and mundane when you get around to executing it.

Say you got a couple of cooperating camps, back-to-back, each fronting a different parallel street, about halfway down the block. Together they build a tunnel made of PVC pipe covered with shadecloth, at least 6' high. You enter it on one street and emerge on the parallel street.

I know, most peeps just cut through camps.

It could be a big rotating barrel a la Dark Rides just to make it dangerously fun.

I had an idea of something like this ... Valet Parking

Just inside the gate you have a guy with a reflective vest and a couple of orange cones sitting in a chair and a few others standing around. You have a sign that says "Valet Parking" You probably also need another little sign too that says "Bus Stop" or some such.

Person pulls over, you ask them where they are camped, they get out, one of the folks standing around takes their keys, drive the car to their camp and park it, leave them standing there by the gate at the "Bus Stop" sign for a couple of hours.
