Greatest idea-Safety equipment dueling: fire extinguishers, defibrillators, you name it. Maybe we could even get some sodium pentathol and some syringes and let people with dirty little secrets go at it.

OOHHH! We could have a gambling den! Cards, dice, roulette... at the losing (or winning) end would be some form of harm (or the opportunity to administer?) Maybe there would be a series of bets, one to figure out what device, who administers, and finally if you are the target. If you win and lose, you could have to shock yourself, something like that.

How about a real fire-related campout in a caldera?
Will the lava lake rise and chase everyone out and burn the art or sit there below us and entertain?

maybe if you wrap a 2 foot diameter ball of barbed wire with rages and soak it in gas then light it, it would be under 10 pounds and would still be a challenge to catch

Sure, my first idea was medicine ball catch. Lighting that on fire is easy.

I always thought a game of 'Assassins' might be fun. You show up to a camp, sign up and write down your camp intersection plus two other hangouts and get a Polaroid taken of yourself. Then, you're given the notes about somebody else along with their picture, and it's on.

When you find the other person, surprise them and take their picture, and then get their polaroid and go find that person, and so on.

I love that game. Steve Jackson games came out with something very similar called "Killer". A citywide game of it would freakin rock! See who's left "alive" by the end of the week. :D
hmmm.... Who would want to play? Might have to start a thread for this is people sound interested. :)

Okay, where's the assassin thread? I've got my polaroid.

On another note,we were discussing bringing a keg in the "Bar" and realized we could make something like that VERY dangerous. I've got a 25 gal (100#) propane tank, and can get a 30 k btu burner pretty easily. So, we put the burner under a full keg of cheap beer. Like that. Actually there were a few ways to blow up a keg of beer, I kinda like the natural way, but there's no guarantee you'd get the desired wall o' foam effect. So, we got the keg on the burner, let it get nice and hot, then take turns hitting it with aluminum bats. heh.

Could be fun. Depends on how you surprise them.
