I could tell you, but it would burn off both of your ears.

Lemme guess: napalm q-tips.

Perhaps 'ears' would be the wrong metaphorical point of entry.

OK, I'll bite.

First, I never realized The Church Of The Sub-genius had any connection to fisting. Must be why I've not checked them out ere this.

Second, what is that? A midgit mariachi group?

Third, who's the cute Goth chick?

Fourth, well, a big roaring bonfire, that I can dig.

Who, me? What do I think is just too cool for words? Gleaming, intricate machinery. Put me in the Smithsonian (or darn near any museum) and I'm a happy camper!

For me, right now, the intoxicating smell of New Green Things...It's been a long, hard Winter in These Here Parts.
And the smell of RIPE SALVAGE. People are cleaning their garages, now that the weather's nice- And that means GOODIES. ALUMINUM. FABRIC. MOTORS. ET CETERA.
What else..? ORGAN MUSIC. (Pipe, B3 or Farfisa.) BAGPIPES.
GREEN....Anything.

the smell of old books. Give me one, and the first thing I'll do is bury my nose in it. Then I'll read it.

Books and more books

Post by calsur » Wed Apr 12, 2006 10:14 pm

New Sci-Fi. Books mostly but some TV series. Major freak on this subject. I sent a email to Jim Baen this week about keeping the publishing schedule on target for the 1632 series.

But I have to admit I would rather read than eat.

High quality paper. I don't know why, but I've always dug the feel/look/sound of good paper.

Bob Dobbs' big Popey-fist extracts the Conspiracy from our culture's constipated ass. Or pounds it further in at your discretion.

And for only $1, you can purchase sanctified Holy-Lube (tm) to ease the way. Just leave the dollar in the Bar Blender.

Floating in deep water, moving or still...

The first page in a new journal (preferably Robert Bateman brand of sketch books, with the beautiful heavy-but-smooth paper) and a new fine-point felt-tip drawing pen.

Curious animals (and children).. (and adults)

Watching people dance together with utter delight AND skill... and if they only have one, let it be delight.

X.
