Well, the night is winding down... the cops just nailed somebody for something right in front of the store, towed their car-probably drunk driving. One more hour to go.

(starts wiping down bar top and tables)

I feel so silly doing this in a dust storm.

oh yeah

wipes a little playa dust of the machine, seasons the bottom of the porta filter with it. loads in SF Bay french roast. Pulls a cuppa for Sue

U kno some of them do-nuts look "dusty"....

I actually have one of those Schilling Spice bottles with a forged label on it that says "Playa" in my spice rack... Just the thing to make the espresso taste *just* right!!

Wow, I see I missed a busy night.

RE: a tent. I don't try to fight the dust. My first year (04) my tent had one of those vents on the top. Last year my tent did have that, but the window flaps don't seal tight. The only thing I do in my tent is sleep and store my stuff, so it isn't a big problem. I just bring a sheet and lay it over everything. Just fold it off of what you need and then put it back. Shake it out once in a while.

Hmmm...today feels like a corona day. Nice and warm and sunny.

I'm drooling over this for camp prep right now. (They code their images funny, or I'd just link to the pic.) Of course, I should think about replacing the stove, first - mine got stolen out of the garage last year after I got back.

That's really cool, Koosh. Personally I've been eyeballing a nice big two burner flattop grill for a while now. I can't find it right this minute, but they run $200-$300 for the whole setup. Breakfast done right for 20-30 people.
