Call for artists: fountain garden

Post by falk » Wed Apr 19, 2006 4:12 pm

In last year's Oasis Dome, the central fountain wound up being the best part of the dome.

This year, we've decided to make fountains the theme of the dome instead of tropical plants. Given time and enough workers, we might even build a Japanese water garden.

I invite any artists interested in creating a fountain for the Oasis Dome to leave comments here or contact me offline.

Bump.

One large fountain, three small ones confirmed. Another artist has expressed interest in doing a large fountain, but it's not certain yet.

Still considering a full Japanese water garden if anyone is interested in working on such.

There is room for a few more people in Oasis Dome camp - preferably artists and/or people who can come early and help set up.

That is a beautiful space.

I'm already committed for this year but if you do it again next year I might be persuaded to jump ship. I've been dreaming of doing a fountain project for several years now and I have a trailer that can haul and power it.

I'll probably put a grey water fountain or two outside as well.
