Yeah, we can get nasty. But I did love how we turned around. Now, I wonder what vulnerability we could find in Allanon2 to treat him with anything but contempt.

my experience of melt water is it tastes nasty. Stale. Plus you'll have to wait in line.

I don't do well with Heinlein, don't think he really "got" people. This is sort of the basic text, or one of them It worked for me and Scott, but we were in our late 30s and early 40s and had worked through the drama before we met. He also had serious roots in queer culture.

if you can do soy, rice or almond milk at least you don't have to worry about spoilage until after you open the carton.

Heh. The girlfriend that the ex and I share (yes, still; the triad may have ended, but the individual relationships he and I had with her are still there) is also fairly anti-Heinlein. Made for an interesting juxtaposition at times. (She's also very non-hierarchal in her view of poly, when Himself and I weren't, largely out of necessity [that whole legal marriage to someone else and all - though by the time he and I broke up, our commitment was as complete as my marriage, if not moreso at times]. Oddly enough, she had no trouble accepting that her relationships with us [individually and collectively] were secondary to our relationship with one another...but again, a lot of that was "necessity;" she isn't local to either of us, so it was unsurprising that the one leg of the triad was a much stronger connection than either of the other two.)
