Don't mind that guy. He's been sniffing feet all day.

My last bike was a VF1000 Interceptor from '84. Oh, and yes I took it to the playa once.

Yeah, that's what they call 'em- "Milwaukee Vibrators". A buddy of mine has a '99 Cyclone. Now that's a fun bike. Loud and grunty like a Harley should be, and nimble like a motorcycle should be.

Actually my Softail is not as bad as my old Sportster.. The Softail has rubber mounted engine and is "relatively" smooth. There's still a whole lot of motion between the legs. :D
......Now the Sportster had a rigid mounted engine and at a certain speed (about 63mph) that was very resonant with body parts.....

Dude, ESD, I just want to learn how to ride a motorcycle. If there's gonna be all kinds of distractions I'm gonna be afraid. I'll ride in the back for the first few times.........yah, with my arms around you, you do have an extra helmet for me, right? My state has no helmet law. Stupid, stupid, stupid! I need a helmet. and leather. I'll wear leather. actually bought some for bm.

So maybe I sell my car after Bman, and get myself a bike...hmm. Ya, I think I need to do that. Hey, E D-you have any objections to riding around with non-Harley riders? Being that you're right across the creek so to speak.

Riding on the back is definitely different than being in front..Probably still fun (never been there) There must be SOME reason why the women on the back of Harleys have a smile/grin.. ..

Won't have the Harley at BM, but some chopper bicycles... AND leather :D

DD yea I'll ride with you, but u really need a car in Oregon in winter. :(

TITWI, can I have one of those chocolate things? Don't normally imbibe.. but since I'm on a sugar spree right now (easter candy is goin' down!), might as well go whole hog...

And, speaking of Hogs.. I like motorcycles :) my um-friend takes me for rides, and that's lots of fun.. and I used to have my class 6 (license to drive motorcycles) and a wee lil' Honda ST90.. almost a dirt-bike, but street legal... but when I moved down to Vancouver, it was a bit too scary to ride it in the traffic with the big cars n stuff.

Hm.. would be curious to see if a bicyclist could double me (on a banana seat, maybe?) and be as much fun as the motorized version? <grin>

How y'all doin?

X.

I don't know nothing about cycles, except those that work by people power, so just hit me with a drink. Looks like we've got a satellite to take a picture. Now I just have to find a way to get more people to bring pixels.
It's going to be alright.

Actually I walk to work, and lived in western Washington motorcycle commuting year round for many many years. I've even ridden in snow and sleet. (didn't like it but was exhilarated to have done it). I think I could survive it.

A bicycle built for two? Or more? Heh, that would be fun to see... I'm guessing someone already has something like that and hauls it out every year, hm?

I'm getting used to RD's dirtyness.. it is now fun, instead of offensive ;)

And, doing the 1-hour commute to work riding in the rain was more fun than doing it in full sun.. feel more hardcore, know that you've got mud splattered on your face, big smile from the fun of playing in the rain.. I've accumulated pretty decent gear for cycling in the rain over a few years (though my jacket is a $15 clear vinyl thing, rather than waterproof-breathable, so I smell funny by the time I get to my destination), and enjoy it... now I'm excited about my hoop trailer that should be arriving in town tomorrow, woohoo!
