Well, it's a Pink Floyd album, I believe it's called Ummagumma. On this album is a song called "Several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and grooving with a pict" (a pict would be a translator of sorts).
That's where the "maybe he just likes the sound of it" came from. Okay, it's obscure and weird, but so am I.

A reference to Pink Floyd came up last week with the expectation I was familiar with them and I’ve never listened to them much , Guess I need to check out some albums.

Some of their earlier stuff is pretty interesting-Check out "Obscured by Clouds", "Meddle", and "Animals" these are all good albums and are quite different from their later stuff.

Don't know about the Norwegians, and Xta_G is still trying to get her camp together. I think we're kind of a fall-back if her plans don't work out.

My older sister's first husband was heavily into Pink Floyd, so I got the full introduction. I even had a double album called "A nice pair" once upon a time. (on tape)

'evening, y'all...

"fallback".. yeah, maybe.. or maybe I'll try to convince the rest of the VCampers to go for that little fenced off area in the back corner of The Bar, with our own bouncer doing gender checks at the door ;)

How y'all doin? I am WIPED.. hauling 16 hoops on the bus is NOT fun, but my bike cart arrived today, will put it together tomorrow night or Monday... right now I'm going to be whipping together a custom hoop for the nice lady driving a bunch of us up to Whistler tomorrow to see Michael Franti and Spearhead :)

It sounds like a cinematic moment, seeing you wrestle 16 hoops on to a bus.

Hanging on here, in my optimistic moods it seems like a pregnant moment before something wonderful happens,..... most of the time it feels like I’m getting by , but that’s certainly not a bad thing

Something nutricious (why does that word look wrong?) and rehydrating? Too much hooping in the sun today!

I figure I'll have a better idea of what is REALLY happening.. by late July :)

I tried that before I settled on the c.. the t didn't look right either :) I think my eyes are a bit crispy, didn't have shades.. but WOW it was a beautiful day today! I've got some nice little videos of my class of hoopers playing in the sun... :)

Here's a question for anyone who wants to play: If you could suggest ONE song that I should listen to (hopefully available on iTunes) and add to my hoop class mix, what song would that be?
