Yes indeed...(nibble on cracker/cheese) goes great with fermented berries. White Zin is my fave...light, sweet, and fruity. Starting to edge into darker (Merlot, Cabernet) but not a connisuir by any means. I'm staring to dig White Merlot, which is a split between the two.

Rockdad,
It's perfect......shoes and martinis. Even though I'm quite you didn't forget me.

Jewel, yes, I really am up. I was out doing my civic duty. I only made a couple of audible wisecracks........see I can behave in my suburban lawn chair.

I'm so bringing an assortment of wine to the ePlaya Bar Camp. We (COFFEE CAMP) took out a few bottles in 2004, and tucked them under the real truck wheel well to keep them shaded/cool. Great to drink in the coolness of night from a 1 liter canteen :D

Snap, I'm out, too. I'm gonna go up to Jenny T's radioshow for about an hour (Comes onto ePlaya as "MellotronG"), then...then it's off to bed...long, beautiful, rewarding day. Goodnight Rock, J***, shoegirl, Bin, BigC, DD, ED. Sleep well :D

Guh.. just wanted to pop in and tell y'all that if I disappear in the next couple days, it isn't anything personal.. computer is just being incredibly cranky (I got the uber-fast machine for free because my techie friend was hired to fix it, couldn't, and the guy gave him the machine for parts...).. and it keeps crashing and deciding new programs aren't going to work... and sometimes not even being willing to restart, SO.. if I'm off, that's why =I

Other news... I'd still like to hear the NEB story.. where did this come from? And, no little wee pixel-squares.. these are big sweatshirt squares we're talking about! Heh, could even sew a mostly-full sweatshirt into the blanky, in case someone wanted to be able to use their hands ABOVE the blanky and still be blanketed... Fun project :)

I think the Megapixel project is cool.. but I haven't seen any advertising for it! (haven't been looking, either, but then again I haven't been looking for the dragon project, and see lots about it!)... and doesn't the dragon project have built in flex, with fabric sections between hoops the way a chinese dragon puppet works? Haven't looked at their plans for specific details, but that's how I've been picturing it. <shrug>

Nice to be back, hope my machine lets me come visit :(

X.

Y'know, I poked around ePlaya and found Project Megapixels.. but it just seems to me that it is only being discussed in the LOGICAL places (Theme Camps/Art Projects).. and I'm guessing that it will already be in the Burning Man Theme Camps or Art Projects tribe.... but it needs to make it into the NON-obvious places.. you've already got THOSE people hooked, now start latching on to the folks who don't visit their locations.

Any thought to challenging the regionals to come up with a segment? Could auction them off.. early responders get their choice of the picture ("We made the ass!"), to encourage buy-in :)

Gotta confess I haven't waded through the 17 pages of discussion on it.. anyone want to tell me what the picture is actually going to be?

X.

Damn X you have great ideas tonight your on a roll...
The NEB arms and headhole sound real cool..
the end of the megapixel thread shows the picture the guy blowing fire...

And you have a head for marketing think Sput needs to do the regional thing too.
