"a small piece of sky"
We are looking for people of all ages, genders and backgrounds who would be interested in performing in an open group dance performance on the playa this year. There is no limit to the number of people who can be involved. There are three sections to the piece which can be performed in any order of your choosing. Participants should wear whiteclothing of some kind and bring a black blindfold.
Inspired by women who have been unjustly incarcerated in insane asylums, "a small piece of sky" is based on the fears we all face in our lives and the hope that we have that allows for change.
No dance experience is required as this piece can be performed by anyone using their own style and working within their own body limits. The dance can be learnt in advance by downloading the document online. Interested parties should check out the description of the dance piece at
