I just realized how good life has gotten...

Used to wander in, the place would be dark, cold, have to go around, start coffee, refill and light lanterns, make sure the PBR reach-in was stocked, take out bottles, dust the back bar, mop the floors, polish the wood, etc...

Now I wander in, the fire is going, the lanterns are filled, cleaned and lit, the iceboxes are stocked, and there's already not just Coffee but Espresso, with a smilin' biker beind the bar!

How much better can it get???

Life... rocks.

May I have... Doppio followed by a french roast, please? Grazie!! (And where is Slide Rock?? Looks kinda southwesten!)

<runs into the bar, waving a newspaper over her head> ITS HERE!

http://www.vancourier.com/issues06/0511 ... 06nn1.html

SUCH a good article, I'm so happy! <dance around>

Slide Rock is in Arizona, just a little bit north (I think) of Sedona, which is a couple hours north of Phoenix.

You bet I can! <dons her Sensual Super Hooper cape> <snicker>

I'm hoping to find a tubing source in Reno, so I can pick up some stuff before swinging into BRC.. (is Reno on the way, when coming from Portland? Guess I could check a map)... anyway, the plan now includes making at least 8 hoops for sharing, and then gifting at the end of the event :)

Hey, all. My 'puter decided it didn't like Bman or tribe for a day. Funny, huh?

Xta- welcome to Bar Camp, and Reno is either right on the way or way out of the way depending on how you go. I always take the back route, which will take a big chunk out of the distance, but is slower going. It works out to either the same amount of time or a tad less. Scenery's nicer, though.

Liked that comic book of Bman images, I was even in it.

OK, I'm gonna pretend I'm taking a nap for a bit.(yawn)

Hey, all-just got the email on the 2005 afterburn report, the Recycle section included this pic of our main structure (new for last year). We're pretty sure noone had done this on the playa, yet. Pretty cool, huh? Her name's Auntie Litterbug (note the shadecloth wings). She also has purple eyes that light up at night.

The report also mentions us looking for a new volunteer coordinator (my semi-retirement)

Oh, and aint nobody gonna be doin' body shots off my round hairy belly, either.

One Tequiza for you my friend Thisisthat. (pops the cap, lets the cold air rise in a soft swirl, and slides the bottle down the bar.)
