I am going to Salt Point tomorrow we are going to set it up then lots of pictures. The stake drives almost flush 30” then an aluminum shoe is snapped on the top so no stakes stick up the pole has a crank that tightens the tent. I love this thing.

Xta_G, here's a story for you. My first timeout in 2002, I was in Pamper Camp having a margirita. A couple came in and said the wanted to be pampered (I was volunteering as a "pamperer" and they were "pampee's". We somehow got into the subject about 9/11, and it was tearing my heart out. The guy was on his way to work and was two blocks away when the plane hit. All the while, I was massaging one of her feet and toe-nail painting his feet. Only in the desert...

ESD, I'm going to HT tomorrow. Bought a nice pair of shoes at EMS today though-------on sale for $27.00. Yeah me. My feet will not touch the playa this year........ except when I'm wearing my furry flip flops of course.

Funny you mentioned that Espresso. I was in the store today and saw an electric scooter, that in the next couple months, might be priced just right. It plugs into a regular outlet to charge and goes for quite awile. I'm thinking how cool it would be to deck it out with coffee thermo's for transport. It plugs into a regular wall outlet. Alas, here is my question (please don't laugh, I've just never used one before): Generators have regular AC outlets on them, don't they?

yes, 99 44/100 % do have them..........make sure the wheels are big/wide unuff for the playa....something like a razor scooter probably has too small of wheels and will always sink, burn out the motor

The scooter has big, wide tires and even has a little basket on the front of it. I think it would be awsome to pack ice in, go exploring, etc. Plus, it's small and doesn't take up much room.
