TITWI, I'll take a small cup of Joe with a fresh draft brew right next to it (like to mix it up---in fact, it might sound weird, but at home, I usually drink water, coffee, and beer all in rotation at the same time. Get the best of all the worlds...hydration, caffeination, and stuporation. :)

Hm... funny talking of a singing tent, when I was wandering on my way somewhere last night, humming to myself, and wondering if there were opportunities for sing-alongs at BM... do they exist? I tried the funkiest thing at an open house once, circle singing, where the conductor is in the middle of a circle of people, and she would sing a snippet of melody or harmony to a small section of the circle, who would then start singing it back and looping it over and over.. then she'd move on, and sing another harmony to another small section who would start looping it.. and over and over and over.. VERY impressive improv choral singing!

Anyone else experienced this?

Goodnight Mozy!!! (sorry to hear about the accidents...hope you get better soon- rest=wellness) That's great to hear about the field test of the tent. Sounds like it will be the focal/enjoyment point of the camp. Rock on! :D

<blink> I may have been playing too much catchup and just skimming.. but did Mozy just say that the Bar Camp tent is a one-person, 10 minute job??? Holy crap, that's some good engineering!

DD, I'm grand, thanks, you? Just got home from teaching a CPR recert, had a fun afternoon of playing in the sun and teaching my pool replacement how to hoop too... and came home to find that my internet connection no longer seems buggy, AND more people have emailed me to register for my workshop on Sunday, so I'm now ACTUALLY going to be paying myself my hourly rate, over expenses! Wooo!

Hello Xta_G. How is your Cinco going? I was thinking about going and getting a few brews for a night cap, but after that pizza and a long day of work/chores, I'm thinking might spend it rest. Plus, there's still this funny little day called Saturday to come :)

QUOTE: "You can't fly with the Eagle's in the morning if you stay out with the Owl's at night".

Can't remember where I heard it (my uncle maybe?) but it's always stuck with me...especially the morning after a long night of get it done.

G'night guys... I'm up for a weeee bit longer, wading through my very messy inbox and sorting it all out, to make sure I haven't ignored something important.

Bar singalongs can rock.. I think.. don't know that I've ever sung in a bar, but pools have great acoustics, used to do some wicked harmonies with other guards while doing lane ropes, etc.
