Oh, you so totally should... just find tubing that won't be floppy or warp out of shape the first time you twirl it over your head... or the thick heavy stuff that will give you bruises... :)

X, you have lots of inspiring things on your websites from the glass beads to hooping that have inspired me. As for the hoops I never really got to play with them as a kid and the times I did I sucked at it. Now I can make one and practice without having people laugh at my mistakes....and I like that.

Oh, sure-if we have a full kitchen, there's no reason we couldn't do some classes. What do you want to do or learn? You tell me what you want to do, I'll tell you what you'll need, we fix it up, everybody eats. YAAAYYYY!!!

Nice test mark!

Hm.. things I want to know how to make...

Would a camping creme brulee or caramel work? A little flame involved in the caramelizing of the top (I've read about it, just haven't tried it...) Heh, I haven't done much (er, any) camp-stove cooking, so I really have NO clue of the possibilities...

Oh. One thing I can make, pretty decently, is anything with either a ground beef or veggie ground round base, plus red stuff and green stuff.. :) Mmmm.... would a thai coconut curry something be do-able? Or am I getting too exotic? :)

The test wasn't much tech support for internet cable service. Most I already knew and some was easy to figure. The hard part was learning to do it their way and in under 10 minutes. What a pain.

For the creme brulee' you just use a propane torch (little plumber's torch). We'll have a full kitchen as far as I know-Enough notice, I can find a recipe. Usually what I do is get two or three recipes then take what I like from each.

That is what I do. Problem is I have so many cookbooks I can never remember which ones I used. So I have to improvise the next time.

See if that works.. if not, go to http://www.christahoops.com and visit the Images page to see video clips of me hooping in action!

We're gonna have a full kitchen? Like, with a stove? How the hell does that happen on the playa??

Oh, other nummy thing I LOVE but have never made: rice pudding with raisins :)

I think I'm heading out in mere moments, but I'll peek back in a sec after I take out my contacts.. cause wading through three pages of Zoomy and Lorgasm playing in the mud makes me miss responses :)

It's a dessert-custard. Bake, chill, then before serving sprinkle granulated sugar then burn the sugar with a torch to carmelize.

Loks like you are going to have quite a setup at bm. Should be fun. Do you have a menu planned or are you going to wing it?

West coast time-about 1am.

As far as the menu, I think we're each planning on bringing something to share and our own personal needs.
