Howdy Z...

(finds a beer)

It was one year ago tonight that we were all sitting outside looking up at the moon, wasn't it?

I thought of nipples tonight. That was the last time I saw him, was that night.

How about a toast?

to Nipples...

Thanks, Box. LeChat took the pic when we were going down the highway at about 70 mph (in the back of a semi) in Mississippi - the Burners Without Borders were delivering a tent to the Bayou- we all crammed in, it was fun!

Tom Price is an excellent writer. I am sure his article is great. He is a great guy, too!

ZULEGOONA ! I have missed you sooooo much!
LCN says you were sick. Hope it's not a "virus". LOL

And a toast to Nipples would be appropriate tonight.

It was one year ago today (well, now yesterday) I got back from Europe and you gys all surprised me- and Blue had LCN there already- and we all went out...

That was awesome. It makes me smile. Anyone heard from Nipple's brother and sister if they are coming to the burn again this year?

Well... the story i was thinking of was how we all met up at... Where was it again, Z? i can never remember the name of it...

anyways, Karine had just flown in from europe and blue and I picked her up at the airport. then we met up with everyone that evening for beer. i remember it was just the perfect evening. Full moon, great brew, great company.

Can someone post a link to the Nipple's thread(s) ?

There was some write up in the RestInPeace thread-
in summation:
Nipples was our friend, he was a good father, and he had a HUGE heart. He died in a car accident last summer. His brother and sister brought his ashes out to the burn last year and placed them in the Temple. They hadn't "understood" burning man before their brother died, but it was a pleasure to meet them there and share everything with them.

A TOAST to Nipples!

Box Burner...

nipples was a really kind soul of a guy who was a regular around here for years and years. He always posted poems and contributed kind words in his own way. Do a search for some of his posts... you'll see what I mean.

I've been drinking the stuff since the early 90's. it went off the market for a few years around 2000, then was back in larger quantities being produced by a different Brazilian brewery. Prior to that, I kid you not... it had a distinctively rusty undertone. I always figured it was from being brewed in an old steel vat. Didn't matter... it was awesome and still is. but I miss that little extra flavor.

Kind of a shame when they go for quantity over quality. Wouldn't you know it too, a third world country learnin' how to do it the American way.

Hey, Frenchpuss!

*rummages in knitting bag, pulls out large green box*

It was bobblehead night at the Sabercats game.

*sets it up on the bar, watches it bobble for a while*

And we won the game! Yay!
