You know, the reflective water you see when looking out across the desert in the heat of the day......

I think it's a French lake out there, they call it the mirage

So, I just got back from seeing an incredible documentary called "Paper Clips." Anyone heard about it or seen it? It's been out for a while, but this was my first opportunity to see it. It took place at a middle school in Whitewell, TN. A program was started to study intolerence and diversity (they chose the Holocaust) and it ended up with a project where they wanted to collect 6 million paper clips to understand what that kind of number looks like. My face is red and blotchy from all the tears........If you have the opportunity to see it, do so, well worth it.

Goin' by myself. Although if my Bronco breaks down I will have to look for a ride. Or hitchhike.

yes, i'll be camping with them. went alone last year, am taking a friend or 2 this year. pros of knowing where you'll be in advance are that it's nice to know there's a support group out there for you if need be, plus a whole shitload of other reasons.
