I found the Six Million paperclip documentary on amazon. Looks intersting I will probably rent it though.

I will find the bar in any case so I can meet you all there.

How was your first burn?

The drive went well. I'm now in the Keeweenaw Peninsula, which is that little bit of michigan sticking up into Lake Superior. It's cold here, well colder than it's been at home, I think 50 or so. Someone send me something to warm myself up with.
It's going to be alright.

Wow! that's some hot chocolate.

DD, The experiment went well. Came close to burning it though. The roux came out with a dark peanut butter color. It tastes slightly of peanuts too. Not dark enough for a gumbo but I might try an etafee. :)

Sounds like you did it right, BoxB. It should have a nutty roasty flavor when it's done, dark peanut butter would work okay for the gumbo, darker is better but not burned is best. Tougher to do on an electric stove.

No prob, Sput. My older stepsister went to school up there, I know how cold it gets.

'Sokay ED, we'll take some espresso to melt the chocolate with. :D

Well I will try the gumbo then. Besides I do not have any shrimp or crawfish on hand. So I would have to wait for that. But I've got plenty of chicken, ham and polish sausage though.

Polish will work, spicy is better, but what you really want (if you can find it) is smoked andouille (pronounced on-do-wee). Really good stuff.

Hey anybody know how to read the eplaya clock? Mine says 4f7c907309714ec. Must be Burning Man time. Or maybe it is just reading through a wormhole or something.

I have looked for that, but could not find it. Someday I will have to order it online. I could have got some of those bar-s cajun sausage things, but to me they seem more like glorified hot dogs. Yuk!

Well this is fun. I changed the timestamp but I still cannot read it. Funny thing the other might for about an hour it read correct times. Then it quit. All without any input from me. Gonna go and play with it some more.

looks like a hexadecimal number

the time in the profile should be>>>> D M d, Y g:i a

if there is an h in it, it may get converted to a hex number.....(not a sex number)

Don't have to imagine. There was a girl with about the same body, though a bit darker ,at the last burn. I was afraid that she would come into Arctica and melt all our ice.
