Do you enjoy being underestimated?
being underestimated has it's advantages most of the time for me.
the element of suprise becomes enhanced for those who have that playakarma kicked in. it really become fun to watch.
any opinions?

Underestimated? Maybe I need a whack with the clue stick but I don't get it either but here's my shot at it. I was underestimated on my ability to build everything I did this year and get it to the playa in one piece. I had naysayers saying I was going to crash and burn on the mountain passes. I had others say that Jungo Road was going to tear me and my vehicle up. I did it anyway.
I was underestimated in my ability to have fun....someone who seems me every day was shocked at how I came alive on the playa and she was like why can't you be like that every day? She asked a good question!
That's my shot at the question....care to add details now and see if I come close or did I not even get close?

your your pulling bits and pieces away of my element of suprise but that's ok.
anymore underestimated out there?
they tend to be c/pm,mach32....NeXT,vax,cobolt,rexx kind of indivisuals that come into conflict with an mis that has a bad attitude.
look good or not good looking enough or dont look the right way. whatever way that is.
Or females that come in small packeges that have never reached orgasam before.
(most assume because of the way she looks she should have more experience...... i guess........ (guys dont have the same problem. they reach orgasam no matter what.))
artist that think in the grandious panarama and so on
we need more underestimated's.

I just got through handling an identical situation about two weeks ago, and it was so enjoyable. Now she wants to do stuff several times per day and she's like why did I wait so long!digiman wrote:Or females that come in small packeges that have never reached orgasam before.

Needless to say I'm taking full advantage of the situation, and one other good thing is she doesn't have any hangups to get in the way. That's really nice.
i'd have to say that i'm probably an estimator, and i don't spend much time being an estimatee.
i'd say that i generally give high marks for just showing up, but you can loose them (in my estimation) for being too quiet, or too loud. too quiet, and i can't tell what's up with you, and too loud, there's no doubt.

i was told the other day that the laptop i was working on was'nt worth my working on for what ever i thought i was going to do.
a story of underestimation.
this indivisual was, to a certain extent, right. there was only a gig of disk space which was divided between 2 operating systems. (linux and win98)
all i wanted to do was build a website real quick and do some graphics with photoshop.
he said i could'nt do it.
once done, after all of that twidleing of the thumbs, work done by my doodleing, broadcast capabillities and all of what they wanted, they blew me off. but i got a good templet out of the deal and now know who is full of shit.
yes underestimation can be fun.
and boring at the same time.
what do i do about these kind of delima's
and dont say sex because it always winds up turning my partners out. then i have no time and space to do my work. i need a merged harmonious compliment of it all.

I happen to love being underestimated... I look so innocent and yet when people find out more and more about me they find out that looks can really be misleading.....

Well, I wouldn't necessarily say I *like* being underestimated, but I can't say I dislike the usual end results. In most cases where I find myself underestimated, it's regarding my intelligence or level of life experiences. Offhand, I can't recall an event where someone expecting less of me than I gave not leading to some form of positive reciprocation from the suprised self appointed judge.
Now, if you were speaking of the more generalized "misjudged" or, goddess forbid, "prejudice bias" ... in most cases, yeah, I like it alot, it affords me opportunities to allow small minded people to humiliate themselves publically.

i think that everyone has been underestimated in this way.Phydeau wrote: In most cases where I find myself underestimated, it's regarding my intelligence or level of life experiences.
but i'm sure that no one likes to be underestimated. the most common is liife experience and wisdom... those sort of things. i like being able to expand. i like being able to explore other worlds, people, conciousnesses, ways of thought.
being underestimated when you do those things. that's the hardest part of all.
underestimated again.
