Hi Xta_G

I understand the selfish part. I don't really enjoy cooking unless I am doing it for other people. The more to e merrier. Ergo come on over to my place and let me cook for you so I can have fun!

DD, as I understand it there are well over 200 sauce mixetures that fall under the name Curry. It seems that When The brits had ther fingers in India they just called all of the dofferent family spice mixtures curry since that was a common ingredient. They are in fact quite different.

Not really. I have not encountered too great of a variation in What is available at the supermarket. Although I did meet one resteraunt owner that would nit serve her chicken curry when I ordered it because she had not recieved resupply and any other curry she used would taste different and be therefore inferior. I have used what is available here with good effect. However, like you I have not done much with curry.

So, hey, I've got some errands to run and an early day tomorrow. If you want, you can PM me or email me what you know. I'm gonna be looking to put together some kind of menu(figure it's getting to that point) and have different people get to showcase their individual creations. If you would want to take a day, or just help out we can see what would work.

Have a good night, BoxB.

Okay, your account is still too new, Tribe says you don't exist. Find me by going to members, look for Duckster, then invite me to be your friend. Then I can invite you into the Bar Tribe.

Hi BC....I was in San jose for legal continuing education seminars. Entertained myself by sitting in the back and shooting balls of paper through a straw at the sleeping people.

I've been rafting once in my life... I found it really difficult being out of my nice controlled pool in accident-prevention-mode.. feeling that my life was partially in the hands of all the other inexperienced rafters was really scary, because I've got such a healthy respect for how dangerous water and rocks can be!

It will actually be nice on the playa, to be away from the lifeguard mode that automatically trips on whenever I'm around water.. still won't COMPLETELY go away, I know I'll be eyeballing people doing dangerous stuff, and kiddies without parents in immediate sight, but it will be much better.. people pass out in the desert, they're still breathing air :)
