Nummy! Both the sundae (is that caramel sauce I see at the bottom? MmmmmMmmm....) and the plateful of cherries!
Long long time ago, I used to be hostess to a pack of modemmers that would take over a local restaurant every week, and be chaotic. The waitresses knew that my regular drink was a Martian Urine Sample, with extra cherries.. numm... bright blue drink, served in a wine carafe (sp?) with cherries floating through.. ah, bliss!
I have an idea for the wheel 'O' drinks.... can each Bar Camper have their avatar and name on one of the wedges of the wheel, and then the drink served would be THEIR fav drink? :) Mine would be a shirley temple.. HM! Should I bring some paper parasols, or would they be too MOOPy?
X.

Bambino is endlessly amused! Indeed, there is much snickering here behind the bar...one can barely contain oneself under these conditions.
and Sir Bambi, in any case, if you would like me to enter my BED and converge on your ass that can certainly be arranged!

Modemmer.. pre-"internet" were things like Ddials (D stood for Diversity, I believe..), which were 6-telephone-line hubs for folks to link in and chat.. and sometimes one or two of those six would be linked to other Ddials... then slightly later were BBSs (Bulliten Board Systems) that had live chat AND forums, and games and and and...
Hm... just realized I have no idea what heppened at the end of my span as a modemmer...? Remembering using email and the web, but never using IRC (found it very confusing)... still don't do much live chat (other than Lavalife a few times a couple years ago..)...
Anyway, enough. What's this private joke going on out here in the open? Fill us in!

You did not mention how exciting those times were, while watching the screen you could have one drink per character. It made for some bad hangovers!
