This year I’ve decided to bring my spray paint show to Burning Man and am looking for other horizontal spray paint artist to hook up with or maybe start a small camp.

All of these images were created by using only, spray paint, Recycled news paper, and old dishes, cups, and bowls.

Dude! Can you do a Frazetta on the side of my conversion van?

...Seriously though- Are you planning to PAINT out there, or just show? A challenging environment for spraypaint. Perhaps a geodesic paintbooth!

I've done a bit of spray paint stenciling myself over the years, some at BM. It's not windy all the time. I'll certainly try to look you up. I'm assuming those are hand cut, nice work.

I think you should apply those techniques to bodypainting...

Applications for body painting

Post by Romeo_Freakenstine » Sat May 13, 2006 9:46 am

I did use the stencils at the midwest burn event, 'Interfuse' to paint wings on people. I used the Latex spray paint and it worked out great.
I also ended up being asked to paint on two cars too, I used the stencils and an acyllic spray paint.
It looks like we are going to be staying with 'Snowflake Village' this year and painting out in front of, "Videogasm' during the day.
So please bring your bodys, your bags, and your t-shirts and come on by and get tagged.
We will also be giving lesssons in horizontal spray painting.

I'd be one of those set's of wings.. Thank you so much, I am still wearing paint. All your work was beautiful. I'll sure be looking for you on the playa.

Kryolan's "Brandel" Hair spray color are the only ones I've found that are opaque and are like using regular spray paints. Including the gold and silver. (Most air color are tints, or glitters.)

Works well on skin.

Hey Steven are you doing body painting out there this year? 3 years and I've yet to do or be body painted, 2006 can do better! Especially with gold and silver : )

Yes, I usually bring the paints and gear. Gold and silver is a great combination. Zebra stripes, grids, glamour..

It is where you paint onto a horizontal surface instead of a vertical surface like graffiti artist do. Check this out its not me but it is part of what we will be doing.
