'morning, ED, RD, Joel... damn. Mother's Day always put me in a quandary... I HATE feeling obliged to do anything just because commercial organizations have decreed that something should be done... and I thought my mom understood that, until a couple years back on Mother's Day, my dad called (from his workshed) to tell me my Mom was feeling kinda sorry for herself because neither my sister nor I did anything for her for Mother's Day... (apparently trying to be wonderfully loving throughout the year doesn't count...)

<shake head>

Hairdryer lurk.. gotta help my painting project finish up!

I think everyone agrees with ya X. but Hallmark cards gets us on the guilt factor reminds me of the Bush administrations Clean air act. So we buy the card, gift and wish her well and submit to a brilliant marketing job.

I think that's reasonable... I like that idea, "new assignment"...

Alright, time for me to head out and workworkwork.. see if I can fail any folks who think they should still be lifeguards :)

(k, I'm not really like that.. but they DO need to prove to me that they've still got what it takes..)

Have a great day!

Can do......slides down to the basement laboratory, teases a few control switches into position, KKlunk of the contactors, lights dim, Pump growling, whisps of steam from the boiler.

Out comes a stream of dark, black tar caffiene, with a head of crema on top, into the 4oz "shot" glass. A cap slipped over the top.

Slide it down the barrel of the muzzle loading Espressogun. Aim generally East, some "kaintucky windage" factored in, a little left for coreolus effect..add O2, fuelgas. kaBLAM>>>>>>>>>cU :D

on its way
