regynalonglank wrote:so here's my thought for the day:

the kids at the bagel shop had a buhdda up on the counter, the fat one, and i asked them what was the meaning of buhdda nature...is it acceptance? like you don't have to like the way things are, but you have to accept it if you don't want to suffer? and they said no, you don't have to accept anything (this i like) you just do what you can with a full heart, and leave the rest alone. like do it with love or go home (that i get)

but the cool thing was they said that buhdda's message to the people was to walk the middle path. if you want to be happy you shouldn't be too good or too bad, you try to stay in the middle. (ok, that's hard for me)

so i've been WAAAAAAYYY too good lately, and it's fucking killing me. so my mission, which i have chosen to accept (of course!) is to go out and get in some trouble, and be badder, cuz i gotta. and anyways i now have permission to do so. so there!
The kids were right. Also;

That is a Buddhist saying. What it means is that your path is your own. No-one can guide you. they can advise you on what they have done, they tell you what they observe, etc, but they cannot lead you. If they do then they will be leading you down their path. Your path may go along with their path for a little while or for the rest of your life, or not at all. No matter what, it is your path and only you will walk it.

Yeah, that is the idea...of course my self has become somewhat liquid of late, and it's kind of harder to keep track of its mercurial nature...but i am attempting to be true to what i understand to be my "self" in each moment, as i can understand my options and my motivations...such as they are.

and here i thought i would never change :) just shows to go ya

Life is always liquid. Sometimes you can just laze along and sometimes you are riding along in the whitewater (scared shitless I might add), but the river of life always flows.

Just two comments:

about whatever you are doing ----> Wail with it.

and whatever you decide to do ----> do it to the hilt.

I agree.

Live life with controlled abandon in everything you do.

I've often been acused of having only one speed, wide open...

I'm trying to get more to the "middle" of the road but...
We'll see heh.

How can a place that I've never been be calling me so strongly?

Not skeerd tho :)
You think it's the end, but it's just the middle

I know what you mean.....(and i'm getting there slowly).......when I wore my gift card dress (on my tribe pictures) to my kid's school auction, at the exclusive country club i turned a couple heads. There were blue blazers and little black dresses and ME. That Hot Topic outfit really wants to get worn too.

The Direct TV is sitting in a box in the back of the RV right now, I need to get the antenna off the roof at the old office, and post it up our here. Will drive back to LA tomorrow and pick it up and bring it back here Sat.
