the truck is made to tow big loads and the hitch weight load is pretty high... around 800 pounds I think.Zulegoona wrote:sounds like your asking a lot from the receiver ?
I used thick walled 2" tubing for the main shaft of the rack and 1-1/2" X 11gauge square tubing for the frame and struts. Then I mounted it in the truck hitch and stood on one side and it held without any problem. I think it'll be ok.

falling off and though a roof lost allot of blood.
Fired an employee today hated doing that. had to have the roofer pull off what he did he had left a 1" gap on some roof jacks he said it was ok he was going to fill it in with some filler. this was right after they put a 4 foot hole in the sheet rock over where I am sitting in the studio.
