Toast!

Even after seeing "Why We Fight" last night... I still have the utmost respect for the men and women who serve... and now utter contempt for the folks treating war as a business opportunity. Bah.

It was mostly amazing!

Got a bit of stuff done this morning, bought fabric for more costume-making tomorrow 9made myself laugh because a bunch of stuff I liked got put back because it wasn't playa-able due to glitter.. or other fabrics that I was picking up JUST for playa-wear, but wouldn't ever touch them the read of the year...)

But the COOL thing was when I got to my hooping class that started tonight.. and instead of having just 4 people registered so I would barely manage to cover my costs and pay myself $10/hr.. I had SEVEN! So, I actually get a decent wage! And I sold three hoops, for decent prices, which also pay me a decent wage! Wooo!

I love how this life keeps succeeding.. whenever I get worried, almost at the last minute of heading into despair, something glorious happens.. my roomie's g/f mentioned my classes to the folks who email out a daily newsletter of Vancouver happenings.. so I've had five emails this morning from folks asking about classes and parties and such.. wooo :)

Whew. There.. that was my day. How was yours?

Liar, it wasn't that short. Just above the knees.

I guess that I should just be flattered that everyone seems so interested in whether or not I'm wearing underwear.

Why certainly you should be flattered. But there is no flasttery that can equal your natural beauty. And those eyes of yours just make a man melt. Care for some wine?

Well, aren't you trying to get on my good side.

Flattery will get you everywhere.

Some wine would be lovely. Have any nice dry reds?

Hello Mr. Box-Burner! Would/could you, by any chance, find me another shot of Jamesons? Puh-lease?

Say there, Ms. Blue! If I got down on my bony knees and begged, would you call me? Puh-lease? I'm SO FUCKING BORED right now I'm a danger to society.

Piercings are a dime a dozen around here, I usually don't give them much thought. But that pic is interesting.

Actually, it's not the place to start at this point in time. Because I just need something for the next three months until the burn. I'm planning on taking about three weeks off and therefore am pretty much just looking for something temporary. I had been temping up until the end of February, but unfortunately my agency doesn't really have any worthwhile opportunities at the moment. I know that I just need to go to another agency, but that's a pain in the ass. And a little hard to do when I sleep until three in the afternoon.

My career aspirations are a completly different matter.

Hm... interesting topic to be chatting about.. especially since I just finished posting on my blog about how my crazy-concept of self-employment is serindipiteously working out :)

Blue, figure out your dream job.. then go do it! Universal support will occur, if my experience is anything to judge by!

Time for me to head for bed, though.. sweet dreams, everyone!
