Thanks you guys. On top of his skills as a tyranical despot, Kernul Killbuck is an amazing M.C. We took turns operating and handling with two shows at my daughter's school. After I felt like I did not impart to the kids what I really wanted to, he chimed in with some noble truths about it being OK and cool to build art for no purpose other than the pleasure of building it and to make people happy. He just nalied it and I think the kids got it.

Another fave part was when the lights went out and Mantis lip sync'd to "One Way or Another" as she chased my daughters around wearing el wire butterfly wings. Then the touching and grabbing with the crowd. Shrieking with glee, they were. You're right Kinetic, we put on the kind of assembly we wanted when we were kids. Hazah for the default world!

Many thanks to Peak Experience and The String Cheese Incident for inviting Mantis to crash their show in Eugene, Oregon last weekend. She had fun and loved interacting with the happy happy crowd... which is to say she smiled wide enough to fit their heads into her mandibles.
