Actually, now you've got me thinking about that part in War and Peace when Pierre is convincing himself to assasinate Napolean because of 666. Even though W&P was written well after 1812, that should give us an idea of how long silly people have been fussing over this.

Yawn. 6/6/06: Another day of hype that will go down in history with other notable flops like the one where the quack scientist predicted an earthquake on the New Madrid fault.

At least it gave the media something to do and made for an interesting work diversion. And the coffers in Hell, Michigan have a lot more coin today than they did this time yesterday.

Last night the curiosity got the better of me. Yep, went to see The Omen. Still like the original. But hey, the ticket stub alone stating "6/06/06 and THE OMEN" is a great suovenier (sp). I'm also curious what the box office brought in. There were so many interesting peeps out there for the 10 PM show (sold out BTW).

Anyone else seen it? I thought the dogs were great and having Mia Farrow (Rosemary's Baby) in it was also good.

Well agree about literal Bible translations considering it goes thru a bunch of languages before english and then the different authors and autorities change it to suit needs at the time, heard it on coast to coast am.

But even if true wouldn't mean it was over on 6/6/6 which was a long time ago
