Cocktail waitresses wanted

Post by KBALL » Tue Mar 28, 2006 2:36 pm

7 Sins Lounge is seeking a few fun loving female burners to join our friendly bar as official cocktail waitresses. 7 sins has a long history as one of the friendliest small bars on the playa. We would now like to add table service during select evenings for our guests. Interested gals should be fun, friendly and easily amused! Successful applicants will enjoy camping in a high profile camp with some relatively interesting new friends. Our bar is fully stocked and operates every night of the burn. We take pride in offering a low-key, welcoming environment for our guests. For more confusing details about us, see www.7sinslounge.org. Interested??? Email [email protected].

C'mon Chai, don't be hatin'... Besides, I'm sure someone, somewhere will be advertising for a pool boy soon enough, and then you'll be jumpin' at the chance. And you'll have to jump pretty damned fast if you're going to beat me to it. In the mean time:

Dear Mr. Balls,

I'd like to be considered for a, ah, er , position, yeah, that's the ticket, a position, in your li'l camp. While I'm not female, I love fun loving female burners so I figure I'll fit right the fuck in.

Kisses!

I will definately be taking applications for pool and cabana boys. And some of you may think that you have an edge since you know me and all, but I'm telling you that I'm only looking for weaklings willing to cater to my every need.

Further information will be released at a later date. Though starting to cater to my needs now, may give you a head start.

I have to hand it to you, we don't traditionally see this type of shameless begging and sexual stereotyping until late May or early June. You might have better luck on Craigslist if you offered them a free ticket or a ride in your RV or something.

Oh, and be careful what you wish for.

How about a free RV? That's the ticket!

Wait one galdarned minute: you mean to say that you've only got one ball?

Well Mr. Balls, if that really is your name, you can just consider my application withdrawn.

Is it just me, or is everyone way too sensitive this year? By the time BM rolls around everyone will be vibrating balls of indignation.

I've got an idea...

I'll start a sex camp, that caters to single men, I'll staff it with female cabana boys and male cocktail waitresses. We'll be voyeur and self-orgamatic friendly, we'll commission JiffyLube for some really obscene are and we'll serve our guests cocktails made with all the flavors of Nyquil

On the night of the burn we'll have a yahoo-only MOOP party, with a pool full of loose feathers and unattached sequins, and a sign that reads nympho Inside over it. Veteran burners can stand on the side hurling flaming barbs at the yahoos in a 'Who Can Make The lLngest Burn Scar' competition--but keep them running once they're lit--you don't get extra points on a stop-drop-and roll.

Finally, we'll all have a mutant vehicle hi-speed drag race out to the temple burn.

Who's with me?

On, and I can't name it or anything 'cos that'd ruin this cool 'lurker' thing I've got going

And maybe, if we get time, we can play some allanon Scrabble.

Ahahaa! Yeah..! a drag queen race.. That would be great. Hey KBall: speaking of which, how about some drag queen cocktail waitresses for your bar? Get bitched at for free with your drink. There ya go..

Here I go, all balled up and vibrating in indignation (har!):
Or maybe you were envisioning something a little more like HOOter's??
You mentioned a qualification would be "easily amused".. like when the waitress laughs at your jokes cause you're such a card, oh, and you're her paycheck? Pardon me if I'm way off here, but it sure sounds like "Hooters" to me.

I'd take drag queens any day..

Okay, yeah, way too easily offended (we're bastards. it's the internet. get the fuck over it), but I would like to offer up a tiny bit of defense for Kball. I spent a few evenings at the 7 sins lounge last year, and it was a great place to be. Very friendly folks, excellent drinks, etc.

I concur with Jezebel - waaay to much sensitivity. Used to be much "looser" and more relaxed... yeah... fun, even!

Perhaps Mr. Balls is just "throwin it out there" for the fun of it. I stopped by 7 Sins last year, and it wasn't such a bad place.

i third that vote on sensitivity. the good thing is bman is one of those rare and fantastic places that ignite people past apathy - into passion and action. the bad thing its sometimes taken too far.

Okay, I've got the all volunteer cocktail waitress work schedule all worked out. Spec, you're working Thursday night and Sunday night (wear the heals - they really work for you); Necco, you've got Wednesday and Friday night (two words - more cleavage!). Jez, you're working Tuesday and Saturday night (sorry!). Shifts are from 8pm to 4am.

Glad to see you people steppin' up to the plate.

Yeah, I'll be bartending during the burn... cause that's exactly where my priorities lie.

Are you guys going to totally gonzo yourselves into the position? Because that would be pretty funny.

Sensei--btw I may have just the dress for you...

I'm told I have a generally bad attitude and I absolutely hate waiting on people. But I do have some fairly recent publicity photos that have been almost imperceptably altered to make my breasts look bigger.

Are you still taking applications?
