I was the only female to audition for the role of Professor Willard for the play OUR TOWN. I got the part!!! It was for High School and we performed it for 5 nights. It was great. I was in this old black school marm dress, grey hair, with runs in my black stockings, rolled around around my ankles.
See you soon,

1 do a fierce impression of a guinea pig (just the sound, nothing else)
I was once pulled over (well, kinda.. I was on foot, they were in a car) by police... because I was wearing a cloak. "Yes officer?" "Uhm... you're wearing a cloak." "Uh huh...?" "Uuhhhh.. never mind."
I picked up a straight guy AND a gay guy on the plane trip to Sydney for the 2002 Gay Games...
Oh, and I'm incredibly organized.. just also incredibly messy.
X.

Hey EDB,
I remember The Outsiders. Do you remember a cast member named Darren Dalton? He got to play a quazi main role. Anyways, my sister and I competed in many drama tournaments together back in High School. One of which was in Portales, NM. There were other schools from NM. Jenny and I represented Alamogordo. Darren was there in a play I believe called The American Dream (he was probably 17). My sister was the director and sound person for Sweeney Todd. I was the "knockers" (sound girl) of The Keep. I say knockers because the Keep was actually a clock in a prison cell. I was back stage with 2 big sticks making the sound.
Hats off to my sister for her sound making in Sweeney Todd. In order for her to recreate the sound of bodies falling (splat), she was backstage, literally dropping to the floor herself...several times. It worked.
Oh yeah, I'm great at chess.
Peace and good thoughts,
L'Orgasm

I don`t remember him offhand, but I would probably recognize him.Lorgasm wrote:Hey EDB,

I`ll try to look him up in the credits...they came out with a new version of the movie a couple years ago with more scenes and whole new soundtrack...much better I think...They got rid of the Godfather violin licks and put in a lot of classic rock.
I hung out and partied in a bus all night til the shoot about 5AM.
The casting directors supplied everything...and I mean EVERYTHING.
They wanted our bunch to look like we`d been up all night partying and they were taking the Stanislovsky method to it`s extremes.
I got to chat with several future super-stars that night...Ralph Machio, Matt Dillon, Tom Cruise, Patrick Schwazee...they seemed to be fairly regular people...a cool memory.
Very Cool.... Do you still climb??SED wrote:I'm portrayed in a tv movie coming out Sunday June 18 on A&E. My character is "Sam"

Hey Sed, In High School I Climbed Mnt St. Helens and Mnt Hood and lot of rock scrambling in and around the Columbia River. That was back in 1976-1979. Helens blew in 1980. Always wanted to do more tho..Would love the Shasta. I'm only 5 hours to the south. I do get to Yosemite tho.. The clouds rest hike is a great day hike, LONG day hike..

Shasta is a great climb. I've been up it three times, once by the light of the full moon--got totally lost in woods and took all night to get back to Bunny Flats. I followed ski trails and noticed cougar prints in the snow beneath my sore feet. Another time I did it with Erik, my blind friend, and again with a kid who I was guiding. Olympus is another great hike and climb, less extreme but far more varied.
Spent a summer in Yosemite climbing with Erik. We did El Cap over three days. There's a story.
You must be near Portland. I'm going there in July. Wanna get a beer?

Not set on going to BM this year, though I certainly have the time. Keep working on me and I might cave.
