Just a few in North America and Switzerland. I pretty much hung up my crampons at the time my buddies were gearing up for the Himalayas.

I have a scar on my right thumb. No fingerprints don't grow back unchanged. I have a very unique thumb print. The back of same thumb has a scar like a seagull. I always thought it looked cool.
And I have a 2 foot scar on my back. Very sexy IMO. And on my right buttocks there is a 1 foot scar. If you slap my ass, lightning shoots across. It's feels kind of weird actually. Not painful. Just weird.
I'll be in my blanket fort until further notice.

OOOOOH! That sounds fun! Ever have a lover get into it and start shouting, "I am Thor! God of Ass Lightning!" while they were slappin' up those electrical bolts?

;)

Okay, Robbidobbs, I was marked by the moon goddess (through the medium of my mother and a cup of hot tea) as her own when I was two. Crescent on my arm. Scar tissues change as you grow so it's hard to see now, but I am Artemis'sss

One day I was at Micky Dees eating a burger and fries a woman came over to my table and said "You are the Rainbow Warrior." She did not say you are a rainbow warrior, or are you a rainbow warrior? She said You are the Rainbow Warior, Like it was absolute truth and could not be refuted, Well that was wierd. Interesting and cool, but wierd. Would not have thoght much more about it but it happened ot two other occasions. Different places different women. But still the same; You are the Rainbow Warior.

Haven't thought about that for a long time. The mention of birthdays on the bsar thread made me think of it today. Wonder what it means? If it means anything at all. Still kind of wierd.

Well I do not feel like the Rainbow Warrior. But that really did happen and it makes an interesting story. Sure was wierd though. :D

Robbi, there MUST be an interesting story [s] behind those scars. I don't think Evil Knevil has scars that impressive.

I still haven't figured out whether or not the last apartment I lived in was haunted. I kept thinking I saw things out of the corner of my eye (much like I did while working at the University Hospital during the same period of time), sometimes while going to sleep I would feel something moving under my feet (although the apartment DID have a mouse problem, I never found any evidence that it WAS a mouse under my feet), and I would occasionally get the smell of perfume in the bedroom (I the summer it might have been coming in from the flowers outside, but in February, in Wisconsin...?!)

I don't seem to have any of those problems in my current apartment.

When I was a young child (younger than I am now) I was enrolled in Hebrew School. Then we had to move to Alamogordo, NM where there were no hebrew schools. I met a girl who wanted me to join her choir. I did. After a while the choir (this was at a Southern Baptist church by the way) would not let me continue with the choir unless (1) they had a letter from my previous place of worship or (2), I was to be baptised. My friend wanted me with her sooo bad and I knew a letter from the Homestead Jewish Community Center was out of the question so, you guessed it, I got baptised. Is that double dipping? Needless to say I became quite displeased after a while the the baptist church and I had to leave. My friend undersood. Some of them were just hypocrites and it just wasn't my scene. I still consider myself Jewish. My dad was Jewish. His family went through so much in Russia to protect their beliefs. I remain this faith to honor those who fought so hard. I'm not orthodox mind you. I just acknowledge the faith and I just like to keep the groove going.

Hey Bee, where in Wisconcin? I'm trying to hook up a friend up there with some friendly folks?

Peace and Playa Dreams,

I learned about true kharma at age 13!
Growing up in Lake tahoe, me and 2 buddies from school thought it would be cool to go get stoned behind the safeway in the woods. We were sitting on a log doing our thing. We saw the local italian restaraunt had boxes-o-wine out back(back door closed) We STOLE one. Hid it in the woods and returned for it a couple days later, took it out to hidden beach, drank it and all of us got so sick we vowed to never steal again!
Puking on the beach sux!
Ok well actaully we used to borrow bottles of matuse wine from one of my buds dad owned the local 7-11, but we figured that was just family borrowing! hahahaaa

When I was 5 yrs old, my mother's best friend and her 2 sons were visiting us. As they left I was talking with one of the son's at the rear door. I don't remember how, but the door slammed. My thumb was in the way. I screached, and my mother wrapped it in a towel, then after water rinsing, she put a butterfly bandage on it. I layed down on my sister's bed. I was ok, really.

Those were the days. Back before the time that mothers would send their kid to the doctor just for the sniffles.
