this seems right in line with the theme this year.

consciousness is correct : an 'infinite' energy source released at the wrong time or under the wrong social conditions could be disastrous. the old indian stories are true - the 'good' thing may be a 'bad' thing.

obviously, the best thing to do with such technology is to collect all the 'best' people and hide out in the mountains in colorado until the muggles have finally had enough of trying to run their own show. once they've failed miserably, the tech wizards can reemerge with their gizmos and make up all the rules.
