Good evening, folks.. I did a bit of sewing today.. first thing failed miserably, needs to be ripped out and reworked, but the second thing seemed to go okay, just needs more embellishment now...

Hear our bar is coming together nicely, woohoo!

I had a headachey day yesterday.. I blame it on the crick in my neck, and not having my first caffine until around 5pm, instead of 10am :)

Wish me good costuming luck for today's work.. would be nice if I could finish my stuff and then get practicing in it, so i have time to tweak anything that doesn't work, before my gig on Canada Day... woohoo!

Any fun plans for your day, ED?

DOH!! I read that as "headache"... sorry. The only thing that can help a heartache is friends and time. And even they can't cure it... just help it heal up.

I know where my true friends are! I wish I was joining them in the desert this year but the pocketbook won't allow it.

Good to see you LeChat! Thanks for the hug!
Friends and time......yes....and much alcohol!!

Maybe buying a motorcycle will help? Maybe?

Swimming with sharks can be fun. Just don't tease them by dressing up like a seal. They hate that. Sharks are the victims and we are the predators. Be kind.

Zoom,
Are you sure you're not thinkin of stingrays? I don't mean to correct you (however, correcting men is a hobby of mine), but I have not heard of anyone actually "accidently" stepping on a shark.

Sharks are a bit on the blind side. They see silhouettes. Their favorite food is seal. Most of the FLA attacks are surfers. Why? Glad you asked, Jimmy. Well, If one was to look up at a silhouette of a surfer, it would resemble a seal. The shark (if hungry), will bite the "seal". Not kill it. No. They will actually let it bleed for a while as it looses energy to fight or swim. At this point the shark will realize his (or her)mistake and swim away. Now if the surfer were to yell at the shark for biting him, well, that's when the shark gets angry. So please, be kind. Don't call the shark names.

Peace,
Lorgazm

Hello, barflys! I've been super busy lately. Just wanted to say hi and keep in touch. X, good luck on your projects and Canada Day. Well, Martiansky, we've never met but lately I've been spending a lot of "time" at the F*** thread! Heartache seems to be my middle name lately. BUT, it's true, good friends and (in my case) the love and understanding of a good man has helped.

Good Morning Barflys! I'm glad to be back after a brief hiatus.

Zoom - We accidentally step on sharks on occasion. The little sand sharks get tread on while minding their own business. No harm to any of the parties involved as they just wiggle out from underfoot and they would have to turn upside down to try to bite. (But we won't tell as I applaud and support your hobby re: correcting men - sounds like a great spectator sport too).

I hate ebay. I'm not sure if I just bought 5 of an item or one.

I only wanted two.
