Calling all Sober Burners . . . Anyone? . . . .

Yes, I know it sounds silly -- why would anybody go to Burning Man SOBER? Well, while I no longer partake of certain party favors (on or off the playa), I still want to go and have the Burning Man experience.

Can I get a WITNESS!?

I've gone twice before, but never without some kind of chemical assistance. And I know that there are others out there that go sober since I know that there have been AA meetings there in the past, so what I want to do is get a ROLL CALL of sober peeps that are going.

Maybe we could find a day to get together and explore the playa on a purely artistic/spiritual level.... and maybe find some time to dance our asses off as well!!!!

NOTE: I'm not really interested in meeting people who judge those who still "indulge" in party favors on the playa. To each his own, I say.

Kris, Been doing the Sober thing for all of my 8 years going, Sober now something like 17 years now. I don't do the meeting anymore, but if you do a search on the e-playa you'll get some good hits. Come and have fun the sober way.......
