Gormey, huh. I don't think I've had gorm before.

I have got to bring at least one of Scott's teeshirts from working medical at AIDS LifeCycle in 04.

*sniff*

ABsolutely... I'm picturing some of the shirts being left with head-holes so you can pop that section of blanket on over your head and still be social with other blanket-users and non... Would you like Scott's shirt to be a wearable, or a plain block?

Y'know.. I'd be willing to help you with the sunscreen, if you're willing to tell me why your comments always seem to have nasty content.. (or am I just mis-reading your intentions?)

I have that same problem Xta. I think she's young, attractive, and hasn't realized how annoying annoying is yet. ONe fish's opinion.

So are you talking about sewing a teeshirt into the blanket so that it's still wearable?

Yes.. either full-wearable with sleeves still on, just the hemline sewn to the adjoining blocks, or sideseams slit, sleeves and sides trimmed to make a rectangle block with the neck hole in the middle.

The downside to the sleeved version is that it will flop over when noone is wearing it.. the neck-hole-only will be fine.

Do either feel like a good thing to you?

And.. I'm trying not to form too much of an opinion until I know more about her reasoning.. but maybe I'm just nosy and should accept as is :)

Yep - I have put one wearable section into the NEB already - and it works just fine. no need to make it square as the edges of this thing are going to be very organic. I will bring extra fabric that can be cut to make ragged edges match better with straight pieces.

Sounds interesting. Give it a try, I say.

I can be really stubborn about people who get away with stuff I tried to do and got slapped down by reality really hard. Jelous? Scared that it will happen to me again? Embarrassed about my past?

It's all normal human behavior, if not to my credit.

LOL Very insightful!

When I first started modemming (pre-internet days, if you were never a BBSer or DDialer), I was accused of being a guy pretending to be a girl, because I was so brash and bold and obnoxious.. and then when they found out I WAS really a gUrL... wooeee! Beating off the geeky boys with a stick! <laugh>

Time to get on with my day.. have lovely ones, everyone!

I have a greeter's shift in the very early morning of the 28th. Watch for me - I usually wear a big silver hat while greeting. Let me know what you will be driving and I'll watch for you.

Nobody needs to help put SPF on anyone's back anymore. They have those awesome spray cans that work wonders. It's so liberating!!

Sorry--I geek out over products.

*M drags in with a case of Corona under each arm. Puts them in the cooler keeping a couple out. Cracks the cap on one and takes a long swig*

Howdy in the Bar.
Sorry if I'm bringing anyone down. I had one of those days where you wish you could forget someone but can't.

*takes another long swig of beer*

(already had one in reality land, thinking about having the last one)
