I would say probably not, just push it back behind additional streets.

If the event grows in size they will move the site of the event further north onto the playa. At least that's what I understand from the permit approval thingie.

Very interesting, but for anyone interested, the adobe reader is very clunky and bloated. There is a very nice standalone, freeware alternative:

Foxit Reader is small (the download is less than 1MB), so it downloads quickly. It doesn't need any installation, so you can start to run it as soon as you've downloaded it.

And It starts up immediately, so you don't need to wait for an annoying "Welcome" screen to disappear.

Foxit Reader is extremely easy to use, just double click it to start and then click open button to open your PDF document. If you want to print, click on "Print" button. If you want to change the page layout for printing, select "Print Setup" from "File" menu.

But what’s up with the Communities space?? It’s right where we camp every year... Anyone know about it?? Its going to be differant than theme camp I guess, but are sound camp ect going in??

Some of us were wondering if "communities" is the new way of referring to villages.

walk-in is the low income slum, communities are the security zoned provincial working class areas, theme camps are the superior class of privilege.

I,m willing to bet "communities" are areqas such as AEZ, Hushville, Kidsville, etc. They've been listed as theme camps before, but are more community than interactive themed areas.

WTF is going on?? I DL'ed the map last night at home, and there was a key on the map that said what area was what. Now today I DL'ed it at work, and it's gone. Whats going on??

The communities are, indeed, space where some of the villages will be
mapped this year.
