Now wait just a second...which Badger is the official Badger? Is it capjbadger or Isotopia's sidekick? That one is a Black Rock Ranger after all...wouldn't that make him the "official" Badger on here too?

Hmmm... good question. How long has he been a "Badger"? Does being a Ranger really matter? Are some Badgers more equal that others?

Badger...as in Iso's sidekick for lack of a better description is one of the original eplayans. And he has lots of connections inside the ORG...when he speaks a lot of people listen and listen carefully. So at least IMHO he does come out as the top "Badger" around these parts. He's got the attitude to back it up too...

As for the dome fight I've had a running spat with him for years now. If you think you've got first shot at him in a Thunderdome challenge....sorry pal, you gotta step back behind me. I'm the first in line...at least as far as eplayans are concerned.

At least as far as Eplaya badgers are concerned, Join Date pretty much settles which is "Badger" and which is "The other Badger."

Ahhh.. so we are speaking of an offical eplaya Badger, not just Badgers in general.

I kinda got the impression that Badger the Elder had pretty much left these parts for the "other white BBS" as of late...

Either way, don't care.
Been Badger. Am Badger. Will be Badger. All else is moot. :)

You know, Bin, my collage boyfriend (the one glued together from old magazines) was from Waukesha. He had friends in some bottom of the barrel playing in bowling alleys punk rock band that had a song that went
"You must be from Cudahey
I can tell by the smell."
As you can see, not setting the world on fire. Yet somehow bad Wisconsin sausage jokes seemed in order.

And then people wonder why I prefer bacon on the playa? You can keep those sausages.

I remember that smell - from back when Oscar Meyer still did the whole process on the east side of Madison - from live pigs to hot dogs. It was a decent living for a lot of people, though. Coincidentally, our next door neighbor here in the suburbs of Washington is the daughter of an Oscar's retiree. I even talked to the actual Oscar on the phone once. I was an office clerk, putting through a call from Oscar, who had visited Indonesia, and wanted to talk to my boss about a forestry scheme there.

How long has he been a "Badger"? Does being a Ranger really matter? Are some Badgers more equal that others?
The Rangering part really doesn't matter. My Ranger radio handle has been Badger since I first started Rangering back in 1998. I took 'Badger' as my nom de playa almost fourteen years ago when I first went to the event.

Badger the Elder it is then. :)
Only Badger 10 years for me. Got stuck with it back when I started working Ren Faires and my real name very quickly got lost in the shuffle. Hell, more people know me by Badger then know my real name. *chuckle*

Hell... I like being the guy behind the throne anyway...

Anything put out by Wizards of the Coast I avoid as their products turn into money pits. I never liked D&D, I think I'll pass on any of their card games.

Rule #20: At no time shall this thread be called "8(+) Simple Rules to Burn my Man."

Rule #20.1: At no time shall the theme song of this thread be "I'm Gonna Burn My Man" in a bad Lou Reed voice.

Dalmuti is not forbidden. See rule #42

Thankfully Damuti is not a money pit. It's like buying a Uno deck. One time spending.

Rule #21: Any rule that is not recited 3 times dialy, meditated over, written backwards on fine scented parchment and then eaten at midnight; shall lose its place in the heirarchy of rules and be bumped down to the position of rule # 40.

Wahoo! As it turns out I used to work at Wizards and the Great Dalmuti was one of the games I was responsible for, back in the day. I can tell stories about the early versions of the game, and others, and wear a funny hat.

Thanks for the delayed glow of player enjoyment. :)
