Black Rock City 6k Run!

every year i find out that a good half dozen or so of my participants (i work at AIDS Marathon) go to burning man and we allllways swear we'll meet up to run and/or hang out.

being that i'm sober this year, the idea of getting my running in at burning man seems a thousand times more likely. heck, being that i'll be running will help me get through each day staying sober. hehe.

have you ran in BRC before? send me advice.

here's the course i've figured using the magical properties of math!

6 kilometers at 6:06 AM!!! make it even crazier with a 6-pack if you'd like. i'll be packing odouls, you betta believe it.

From the center of 3 o'clock Plaza run towards Center Camp along Brave.
At 4:30 run away from the Man to Hope.
At Hope turn right.
At 7:30 turn Manward.
At Brave turn left.
At the center of 9 o'clock plaza turn Manward again.
Finish at the center of 3 o'clock Plaza.

You'll have visited both Plazas and their Keyholes, the middle of the city along Brave, toured both of the main radiating drags (4:30 & 7:30) into the "suburbs", their mini Plazas at Fate, ran along the outermost edge of the city, greeted fresh arrivals near the entrance and trekked across the open Playa including a visit to the Man himself.
