This site has illustrations on what they are, comparisons of ease of use and construction, weatherproofness, and more. If you are interested in this type of structure at the Burn, you may find this site helpful.

People who have used any of thes structures: do you find the site fair and accurate?

Wow, that's a great site. Bookmarked, and bookmarked some of the links off it.

I just picked up a book on yurts in Portland a couple months ago. It showed some double-decker "guest" gers and how they make the felt coverings. I should probably e-mail this guy and sound him out on the book...

Too tired to dig through my bookshelves for it now, though...
