I hope you get to go. I hate it things worked out the way they did though.
it is okay.... she has become a person that i had not met 4 years ago.

she was NEVER going to allow me to attend burning man.... and, despite all its baggage, burning man is still important to me.

Mine becomes final on the 13th. Hope to see you at the burn, J the O.

Wow. I got divorced, too. It put a pretty massive crimp in my plans for this year's burn, but I'm a happier person so I'm thinking it was for the best. I don't think we're meant to live our lives...our short, short, little lives on Earth...miserable. It doesn't make sense. So come on out, Joel. We can all have a divorcee group at the meet & greet!
Thanks to Addis, I had more free time.

Have only wandered by now and again over the last year and most of the times when I did I didn't have much to say but I've got a couple now.

1. When I got my divorce I got a lot of "I'm sorry ...." my only response was "I am sure as hell not." But that's just me.

and

2. on Thursday from 9 to 10 a whole lot of my friends will be performing a musical on the Center Camp stage. This is not just a musical, it is a lesbian zombie schoolgirl musical. I have seen the production and it is a real hoot.
You can see the trailer here and even meet some of the cast.

Oh and while I am at it: The PDF Fire Conclave got accepted into the Burning Man conclave and I'll be in the circle when the man goes up! Hot Damn.
I like playing with fire.

I appreciate your condolences, Crypto...it's for the best though, honestly. We were having troubles and not treating each other the right ways and I kind if think that a marriage can only handle so much stress that way...I'm happier and I hope she is too...
Onward and upward, you know?

Understood SAM. I still doubt that a divorce is a pleasent experience even if it is for the best.

Hi gang, I'm in Honolulu right now after having spent five glorious days in Maui with my two daughters. They're out on Waikiki while I'm holed up in some internet cafe using some schmoe's minutes who walked out.

Found a hula Barbie for BDC&WB. See you in Wheeeee!Ville everybody!
