erace ... so many possibilities.

I've got ice on the ankle and cold brews going down, so I'm feeling little pain, except when I walk on it, and even then it isn't too bad.

Careful Sput, what you are doing this summer.....Hate to see you all gimped up @BM. Things like midnight submarine races on the playa, pole dancing, etc. You need to take care not to abuse urself before them.

Well maybe abuse is the wrong word..Injure..

Keep on with the medication..

All you peeps out there be careful. We want to see you ready to
play a part in the playa party

Yeah, I'll be healed in a few days, but be careful out there folks. No one in wheelchairs, OK? (unless that's normal for you).

Beer number 3 or 4 going down. No other painkillers in sight.

Watching the submarine races is a phrase I haven't heard since high school and it meant you were going to find a dark place along the lake to park and make out.

Ah memories.

Perfectly fine Sput. Had the major crush on her since the day I saw her. Cheerleader every fuckin year, blonde, blue eyes, looked freekin awesome in Levi's, solid c cup, even in 7th grade. Homecoming queen, prom queen. Couldn't even speak to her I was so nervous. Then at the after prom kegger, me being shit faced, I told her. Then she told me that she had the same thing since the first day of 7th grade. Then we uh, well uh.... and it continued all summer, I went to school elsewhere, never saw her again. She was and is the woman who all my gals since have to measure up to. Shit.

i'll be fine.
gotta do what i think is correct.
not listen to negative input, the intent is to be friends after it all shakes out.
i believe much of the acrimony is pain based.
i could be wrong, and i won't be holding my breath for apologies.
a positive outcome from all this is... my wife heals up, the teenager graduates high school, she has a nice place for the grandchild... and me, with a nice studio kicking out pottery on a schedule. and a beer or two here and there.

the weirdest part of it all is that she was very much the person i met last friday, a week ago, and since then progressively hostile... the crazy part is, she sees events entirely different than i do.

of course, here i am sitting in a bar drinking, while she is home alone, waiting for Wednesday.

it seems everything changed on 8 March 2006 when she got into the accident which caused her current condition.

i innocently went to work that day assuming everything would be fine.

yeah, rught.

okay, almost through my second beer, then a third, then home (the studio)
