OK, I need to take care of some stuff, like work on EL wire crapola. Guess I should read a bit about it first though. I wonder whether I can connect it in parallel or does it have to be in series?

Boss is taking a couple of us up to Everett WA tomorrow, up I-5.

If I can, I will get him to stop in Centralia
at Dick's sausage Co and brewery. Pick up a couple cases to bring to BM

As far as I know, you can connect them end to end in series as long as the length does not exceed the driver capibilities. you can also get drivers with multiple leads for different strands of color.

Yeah, I figured it was in series rather than parallel. I should check the FAQ

been a little while since I looked at EL wire, but I recall that there are 2 wires inside the plastic tube, and that the illumination current is from one inner wire to the other...If that's the case, then the two little wires are in parallel whether you connect the tube end to end or side by side.

Yeah... I think Xingu is probably my favorite beer that is regularly available. The only thing that might top it in my opinion is a local brewpub's Bourbon Barrel Stout. Aged for three months, I think, in used bourbon barrels... Yuuuuummmm-eeee.

On a side note... Xingu used to only come the really big bottles. I've not seen one of those in a while, but I hear they are still coming through some distributors. Either way... it used to be harder to find and had a slightly different aftertaste. They are making it in larger quantities now and I believe at a newer facility. But before that, it had a definite rusty aftertaste. I always sort of liked it and imagined it fermenting in large, old steel vats somewhere in the middle of the Xingu region of the Amazon.
