I had a night from hell at work...had a party of 20 come in prearranged to have seperate checks...the owner waited till 15 mins before they got there to tell me...rrrrrrrrr. he knows I HATE that....worse they told me when they came in they needed seperate alcohol from food checks...luckily they ended up being 13 instead of 20...but then check this out...some of them decided to just SPLIT entree's...they wanted me to put half a charge on one check the other on the other persons...THAT WHERE I STEPPED IN AND SAID HELL NO, WELL NOT LIKE THAT BUT CLOSE!
Boss was PISSED! He said he only did it counting on 20 entree's, to top it off they didnt do Appitizers or salads or coffee or desert...CHEAP ass Basterds! Thank GOD I auto gratuity'd EVERY SINGLE LIL CHECK!

Cool!! I ended up deciding to build a new bike myself once I had that box half filled, I was like "Fuck it" and threw in a frame and some forks.
I'm going down today to give 'em most of the money (got more work).

Good morning everyone!

ED, You still around? I neeeeeed a FIX!!!

Didn't blow outta here until 8 last night (F***ing computer reloads take f***ing FOREVER!), but on the bright side got offered not only a full 10 hour shift (OT) on Sat BUT the boss calls this AM and asks if I can pull a double on Friday.

Meaning...

My CTO bank will be full, which means...

I get PAID for going to BRC!! YAAYYYY!!!! Love it when that happens! Now if I can only get that elusive commo pass they promised me twice... >heh heh heh<

BTW, I was in foods from my 15th bday (illegally >grins<) until I was 27, then off and on for a while after... I preferred to work back of house jobs, every time I went to work on the front end I'd pull my hair out - the $$$ was good (Yeah, TG for those autotips on 6 and above >giggles<) but the hassles of the dickwads, destitute (broke) and drunks was... um.. despicable! I'll work a line before I'd go back to front end work!!

Um... Maybe I better get a corretto of Makers in that 'spresso!

Congrats, Heli! At least it's a ladder out of that hellhole... After the shit they dished out to you, they don't deserve someone like you at DV.

I keep thinking how f***ed it is, that place could be so f***ing awwesome, and they got people like that running the joint. Kinda like here, but worse.

Never know, tho... TSA's not bad, tho, know a couple people over there (up at SFO), they kinda like it. Chance to go places, too...
