WOW That's a piece of wisdom there. Best thing I've read on here in a long time thanks for the reminder.

Heh.. gotta say that there's a nice vibe over in THIS section of ePlaya :)

I'm a Triber who has made my way over here.. mostly for the achived knowledge of SO MANY PEOPLE, that is so incredibly well-sorted that I can easily find tips on tents, shade, bikes, etc... whereas wading through Tribe wouldn't yield the same results.

The post I made to promote VCamp generated completely different responses on Tribe than here on ePlaya. I have come to appreciate the debate-ing ways of the ePlayants, and am now playing along merrily, but I can see how someone coming from the non-combative Tribes would be turned off... thick skin doesn't come naturally to everyone :)

Nicely said Zule.

Hey, Xta-come on over to the "Bar" and hang out sometime. We may come off as overly opinionated, but we're mostly good folks (except for me).
I like pudding.

I like tea.

I like chocolate.

Do you like me?

Don't worry; it only seems kinky the first time.

LookY!! Ive got a cream playa in my face

Post by Alchemy » Wed Jul 26, 2006 8:22 am

I spend as much time fretting and redoing my avatar as I do getting into a created costume or repacking stuff for the event.. (do I needthis..should I leave it at my house?)

subsequently, my avatar will fail after hours of clueless inept production..
I will walk around naked with 7- 65 gallon tubbs of trouseau back at my camp, next to the potential to art boxes of half made gifts and too much food, still half unpacked in sprall decorum, and I will realize..that my stove is missing its gas fitting,I forgot booze but bought mixer and, that my 85 dollar air mattress is 85 dollar sink hole.
Trivilations..
some times you connect
sometimes youve painted yourself into a corner
the underlying beauty of it all is
each faultering yet brave attempt is one that might be the doorway to
interaction and transformation.

The on line community helps me get myself in ala' mode
stay connected, devoted...
the playa is more viseral,...best made plans, concepts of the self
are as they say in Pirates "More like Guidelines Really"
as you are swallowed by the sat of your pants into all the beauty..

I love meeting with those on happenstance that Ive posted with...
always a thrill...
I hope I didnt loose the point of the post....
