So I'm at the airport... now what?

Greetings!

I'm planning on attending BM for the first time. I know some people that will meet me at the playa, but I'm completely on my own as far as getting there. As much as I'd love to look into a ride share, it looks like I'm gonna have to fly.

Does anyone have any advice as to how to arrange transportation to the playa from the airport (Reno intl)? Is this something I can easily 'wing'? Will I run into lots of burners at the airport that I can tag along with? Plus it seems that the cheaper flights get there at night, which may make it all more difficult.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

rio, Yes other burners will be their at the airport & hooking up for a ride is possible. On this board their is a post about a charter bus & hotel room you might look into. Ride share is another option. You will probably need to hit a grocery store & cab service in Reno is good, the airport is walking distance to a costco depending on how much stuff your bringing with. but cab to there probably $6-$8. Of course traveling in to Reno at night you may want to consider shuttle to a burner friendly hotel down town, then citi bus to grocery, then head to 4th st. "Twin City surplus" is the meeting place for ride share to the playa.
