That's odd, snakes. Maybe it represents subliminal thought processes concerning ophidia. I have been dreaming of rivers and trees and snow. What up wid dat?

Tisha, If you read Rupert Sheldrake, he can explain that you're dreaming about snakes because many others are thinking of them too.

Badger, I try not to be irresponsible about passing out information. If you google up <make your own explosives> it shows 31,700,000 pages.

I'm not adding fuel to the fire. Anyone who is able to procure Iodine crystals and strong ammonium hydroxide is also able to find 1,000 other ways to get in trouble.

I did mention to Coyboy to read up before he mixed. I trust his judgment.

When KIDS ask how to make bombs, I show them how to put crushed dry ice in a plastic bottle,,,pinch the middle while it's horizontal,,,add a little water,,,replace the lid and throw.

This generally keeps them away from matcheads, flares, gasoline and acetyelene. The lesser of many evils.
You're correct about the dry sensitivity. Pour it in wet and don't go near.
I don't post things because I believe that they are the absolute truth. I post them because I believe that they should be considered.

It's always in reference to the individual person and what's going on in their life - no set meanings (unlike Fried, Jung, or cheesy dream dictionary books.) Biblical snakes? Primal knowledge/ spirit of nature
Sexuality? Kundalini? your friend who speaks with forked tongue? maybe what Pardner said about summoning courage. All kinds of weird meanings possible. You have to look at the overall context of the dream if you want to keep looking at it.

I once had this very cool dream of a lover that was lying in bed next to me and then suddenly morphed into this blue skinned lizard/dragon creature which ripped my face off and my armpits out in one lightning fast move... and then sat looking at me while everything started going dark.
Cool huh?

snakes could mean alot of things. about going deep, lying in wait, the need to manifest personal courage. It matters too just what they exactly do in the dreams. A giant rattlesnake once looked me in the face and I reached out and kissed it. I think snakes generally are about some kind of transitioning. They shed their skins, leaving useless things behind. They teach patience and getting along with little for a long time. They may be about confronting personal fears. but remember, they are our friends.

Crap, I'm in deep trouble then. The only coffee I can tolerate is the stuff in a Starfucks Frappuccino.

filming a indy film waaaay back when we were chased down a desert wash by a javelina. Ugly as sin and twice as fast. We were lucky there was a steep enbankment for us to scramble up. Damn pig just kept going.

102. When the power goes out at 1548, the city people have fled by 0800. So quiet now.

Rabbi, you can't build until you have the fung schway checked out.
Don't forget to have a towist check out the spirits.
You also need to know your celestial alignment.
Better get a native shaman to make sure there aren't any indians burried there.
Better check with the Pantheon to locate your sacrificial altar. You ARE going to have a sacrificial altar aren't you?

I'm going to try to make it out there this weekend. I don't drink beer so I have to either sleep or find something to fix.
Let me know if you need anything from the land of hardware stores.

 STOOOOOOP! Your all scaring me!!!
And it's not the snakes either. It's the fact that I live @ 10,500 ft. Where 70 is hot. And 40 at night is normal (in the summer). I'm starting to freak out a little. I went to St Louis last May and it was in the 80's. I was light headed, red, and sweating nonstop! I've lived in the mountains for almost 5 years now. And plus I never did well in heat before that.
Do you think I need to be extra prepared? and how?
I went to Moab (a desert in Utah) in June. It was 104. Thought I would die! Found a waterfall - and stayed there for 2 days.
this isn't looking good.

So what you need is a waterpark at burningman! did you check the theme camps to see if someone is bringing or putting one together? If yes, see if you can join their camp and stay in or near the water all week. If no, you may have to build your own mini water park (complete with little plastic pink flamingos

Virgin, I work at arctica and I can tell you that it's mighty refreshing inside a truck,,,,but you don't see much of the city.
They are looking for volunteerrs right now.

If you don't have time to aclimise, you need to take it very easy.
The only thing that I could suggest is to buy a big hat and a "camelback"
Run the water tube from the camelback to the inside of the hat.
Everytime that you feel hot, press your back against a pole or whatever.

With your fast metabolism, you're going to have the most discomfort at night. Better plan on lotsa ventilation.

In fact, I think this year there's a bus going out to the Hinges of Hell for folks to cool off.
