Jazz Fest in North Beach is one thing. But Sunday afternoons are generally bad driving into and out of the city.

So, you should just stay here with me.

Wow! That sounds almost like my day! I keep feeling overwhelmed. It's like the list of "things to do and buy for Burning Man" is never ending.

Okay...well guys...I think that before I hit my long list of things to do...I'm going to take a little afternoon nap. I'll be back later for a drink.

Today is larry's last hometime before burning man. Yep, rinse off the chairs, whomp up on the batteries and the solar lights, bring the rhoadescar up to snuff, start sorting totes so I can pack while he's out, cut rebar, and most exciting of all ... fully assemble the Bucky project out back. Which involves propane and a torch and glow in the darl spray paint.

Careful AntiM.....wear gloves...don't burn yourself with torch or hot metal.....

One of the gang has already burned herself (poor Karine) and she knows hot metal...

(edit) spend quality(snicker, snicker) time with Larry today!!!

My list keeps getting exponentially longer the closer we get AAAAAUUUUGGHH!! I've got just over one week to get 4 rickshaws tuned and packed, and anything else I'll need for these projects.

I'm actually sitting down and writing out a pack list for a change so I don't haul the proverbial kitchen sink out there. Needless to say it's not going well. I'm about to sit aside 3 totes and the cooler, and if it doesn't fit in those it doesn't go.

I actually feel pretty good about my preparations for right now. Got last years packing list edited for this year, already started packing up supplies and setting them together, costume work is coming along well, time off of work taken care of, and yea I'm feeling pretty good on that front.

The only issue now is money. Or I should say lack there of. Have to get my car tuned up before I go and need a few more supplies. Then there's all that gas money, bill money for Sept., food money, and other last minute expenses.

There's just not enough in my bank account right now and I have no idea how much I'll be able to make in the next four weeks with being a temp and all.

I'll just sit here and cross my fingers, toes, legs, arms and hope it all works out.

Um, someone mind getting me a beer? I'm all twisted up.
